Rueben Gonzales

Rueben Gonzales (b. 1983) is a Mexican-American queer artist, educator and curator, whose work explores various narratives including the sublime in the existing, elements of spirituality, queer culture and homoeroticism, and cultural reflection.

Gonzales is a Professor of Digital Communication with the Savannah College of Art and Design. He has a BFA in photography from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MFA in photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Currently, Gonzales is continuing his work on his series Land Locked, while also working on landscape and sky photography independently.
